Wapahani took advantage of Monroe Central’s miscues Friday evening to win a JV baseball game, 10-0.
A dropped ball hit to the outfield, an infield error, and a ball that dropped between 4 Bears in the infield led to 6 unearned runs and a 6-run fourth inning that boosted Wapahani from a 3-0 lead to a 9-0 advantage.
Hits for MC came from Keith Friddle and Logan Patterson, who also stole second base. Base runners were limited for MC during the night.
Braden Case started and pitched 3 innings, while Calvin King worked in relief.
The JV squad was just playing their 2nd game of the year and fell to 0-2. The JV Bears will play Hagerstown Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at home.
