2017 State finalist Shenandoah claimed the MEC team title Saturday in their inaugural appearance. The Raiders outdistanced defending champion Monroe Central, 454-376 to claim the 2018 title.
Other team scores included Eastern Hancock 368 points, Wes-Del 202 points, Cowan 194 points, Randolph Southern 113 points, Wapahani 84 points, Blue River 43 points, and Daleville withdrew the day of the tournament.
Champions for the Golden Bears included freshman RJ Heskett at 126 pounds, junior Tyler Jones at 152 pounds, and sophomore Logan Swallow at 285 pounds.

“Good job Bears. I wanted at least be in the top three today and we did. A couple of matches I thought we should have won, but we move on,” said Coach Kevin Drsikill.
