Golden Bears News · Nash, Mitchell named All-MEC

With boys basketball season over for 9 of the 10 Mid-Eastern Conference has released the All-Conference team for 2017-18.

Newcomers Eastern Hancock and Shenandoah shared the conference title this year, while the Golden Bears tied for 4th place with a 5-4 mark.

Individually seniors Israel Nash and Nick Mitchell selected to the All-Conference team. Mitchell led the team in rebounding while Nash averaged 26.8 points to finish 5th in the state and has a career mark of 1,559 points second only to Matt Moulton in school history.
