Boys Middle School Track · JH Bears sweep 4-way meet , improve to 11-3

The Monroe Central junior high boys placed first in a 4-way meet last night at home defeating Union, Randolph Southern and Seton.

Monroe Central won with a score of 87, Seton was 2nd at 48, Union came in 3rd at 22 and Randolph Southern had 20 points.

First place finishers on the night were Isaac Morgan (100, 200, and 4×400 relay), Brady Hiatt (400, shot put, discus and 4×400 relay), Carter Miller (1600 and 4×400 relay), and Briar Butler (high jump).

Second place finishers on the night were Haston Cope (110 hurdles), Carter Miller (800),and  Ben Miner (shot put).

Third place ribbons went to Caden Landis (1600) James Daniels (400), Cope (200), and Miner (discus).

The boys will be in action again Wednesday night at home against Eastern Hancock. The Bears are now 11-3 on the season.
