Four errors provided Eastern Hancock with enough opportunity Friday night to escape an MEC battle with Monroe Central with a 3-1 win.
There were only four hits in the whole game as pitcher’s from both teams were on top of their games.
Tucker Young started for MC and threw 5 complete innings allowing three hits, only one earned run, and he fanned four. Caden Shumaker threw the final inning striking out two.
Eastern Hancock pitching limited the Bears to a Seth Wilson single and walks to Bryce Deckman and Casey Conatser. Calvin King scored the Bears lone run, while Wyatt Snyder had a stolen base in the game.
