Boys Varsity Basketball · Nash to play in Hoosiers’ Reunion All-Star Classic on June 1


Israel Nash, a member of the Class of 2018, will be playing in the 2018 Hoosiers’ Reunion All-Star Classic on Friday, June 1.

This girls’/boys’ all-star doubleheader will be played in Knightstown at The Historic Hoosier Gym — “Home of the Hickory Huskers” of movie fame.
The Hoosiers’ Reunion All-Star Classic girls’ game starts at 6:00 p.m. The boys’ game follows at 8:00 p.m.
The Hoosier Basketball Magazine staff are working with the Knightstown “Hoosiers” committee to organize this Hoosiers’ Reunion All-Star Classic. “We feel this event on the “Home court of the movie’s Hickory Huskers” will be an enjoyable, exciting and a unique playing experience,” said Kip Wesner of Hoosier Basketball magazine in a statement.
Nash, who was Honorable Mention All-State, has played in the inaugural TEC-MEC All-Star game and will play in a senior All-Star event after being invited to the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 workout .

Nash was one of only three players to score 40 points or more in a state tournament game this year. Nash also finished with the 5th highest scoring average in the state this year at 26.8 and became Monroe Central’s 2nd all-time leading scorer.
