Monroe Central’s boys basketball team had a busy June playing 22 games capped with a 2-day trip to the lakes in Michigan.
“Logan Patterson and Matt Poole stood out with their leadership, rebounding, and defense. Will Jones lead us in scoring with a 17 point per game average,” said coach Justin Ullom.
“Jackson Ullom was second averging nine points per game. Other contributors on the boards were juniors Sam Feola and Roman Braun and freshman Gavin Smithson. Other perimeter contributors were sophomores Bryce Deckman and Caden Shumaker.
“With only three players with any varsity time last season we gained some valuable experience for many players this summer. I’m really looking forward to this coming season and seeing how the inexperienced guys grow up and grow together as a team.”
