Monroe Central 2018 graduate Wyatt Snyder will play in the 52nd North-South All-Star game tonight at 7:00 p.m. at North Central High School. Tickets for the event our $10 for adults and $5 for students.
Snyder extended the Monroe Central streak of having a member of the North team 3 years in a row and 4 of the last 5 years.
Snyder was selected as a defensive player for the North. Wyatt started 49 games in his 4 year career, recording 69 tackles and hauling in 3 interceptions during the 2017 campaign. He had 6 interceptions for his career.
On the offensive side of things, Snyder set career highs with 50 total touchdowns, 1,735 rushing yards, and 354 points scored.
Snyder was voted first team All-State by the IFCA (Indiana Football Coaches Association) and the Associated Press. He was also selected as an Academic All-State member.
