Monroe Central

The Monroe Central Lady Bears opened the season with a 65-30 win at home against the Frankton Eagles. The Bears went into halftime with a 25-17 and ran away from the Eagles in the 2nd half, outscoring Frankton 40-13 in the second half. Abe Ervin led all scorers with a game high 20 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Bryn Patterson added 16 points and 5 steals, Finya Heckelmann went 3-3 from the 3 point line and totaled 11 points with 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Oaklei Davis was the 4th Lady Bear to reach double figures in the game with 10 points on the night. The Bears are now 1-0 on the season and play @ Daleville on Tuesday November 11th. Go Bears!!
