7th Grade: Monroe Central picked up a 65–10 win over Muncie Burris, using a steady, balanced effort throughout the game. The Bears moved the ball well, got contributions from several players, and kept control from the early minutes on. Their teamwork on both ends of the floor helped them gradually build the lead and stay in rhythm for the duration of the matchup. 8th Grade: The Golden Bears went on the road to Muncie Burris. The boys started slow going into halftime up 14-13. The team came out fired up in the third quarter out scoring the owls 16-4. The Bears slowed down in the fourth but managed to win the game 39-28. The Bears were led in scoring by Leum Butler with 18.
