The C-Team Golden Bears matched up against the Wapahani Raiders Tuesday night in the Bear Den. It was a closely fought battle that went all the way to the final second. The Raiders jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter leading 12-8 after 1. The Golden Bears captured the lead before halftime going up 20-16 after 2 quarters of play. The Raiders regained the lead at the end of the third quarter 28-25. The fourth quarter was back and forth with the Raiders having the lead with 4 seconds left. The Golden Bears ran a set to get a good look at the buzzer but the shot wouldn’t fall resulting in the Raiders winning the game 37-35. All Golden Bears contributed valuable minutes and gave great effort in their play.
