7th Grade: The 7th Grade Lady Bears kicked off the Christmas break rust by hosting a 2 quarter matchup with Tri Junior High Tuesday evening, outscoring the Titans 8-2. The Bears were led in scoring by Alexa Tinsman with 6, Mabrey Cheesman added 2. Jazmyn Ford, Peyton Myers, Harper Whitehead Kendall Johnson and Alayna Dickson all played tough defense off the bench. The young Bears have another game at Hagerstown on Monday before kicking off their MEC tournament play Wednesday evening. GO BEARS!!! 8th Grade: The 8th grade girls basketball team came back from the Holiday break with an impressive outing against Tri defeating the Titans 48-11. Ada Wagner was the only one not to score but played solid defense and all around game. Scoring for the Bears was as follows. Izzy McGrath 11, Mila Morris and Claire Cheesman 9, Gracie McCreery 7, Landry Taylor 4, Mati McConnell 3, Lillie Morery and Brynlee Dumpert 2.
