The JV Golden Bears competed in the Randolph County Championship game Tuesday night against the Randolph Southern Rebels. The first quarter was back and forth but ended with the Golden Bears leading 16-15. The second quarter was not much different from the first but the Golden Bears went into halftime leading 32-29. The Rebels took a run in the third quarter and lead 48-36 at the end. The Golden fought to come back in the fourth quarter but ultimately fell short to the rebels 64-61. All team members contributed meaningful minutes. Team scores are as follows: Caden Dance- 19; Connor Baker- 15; Maddox Taylor- 6; Corbin Lester- 6; Miles Gross- 6; Jed Ferguson- 3; Weston Grove- 3; Cooper Huston- 3. The Golden bears will be back in action on the road Friday January 16th vs. Shenandoah. Go Bears!
