Monroe Central earned a spot in the MEC Tournament championship with a hard-fought 40–29 win over Shenandoah in the semifinals. The Bears set the tone early and were able to maintain their lead throughout the game, relying on steady play and consistent effort to hold off a determined Shenandoah team. In the championship game, Monroe Central overcame a slow start against Cowan before finding its rhythm. The Bears gradually built separation and pulled away in the second half, securing a 57–32 victory to claim the MEC Tournament title.
