7th Grade: Monroe Central defeated Northeastern 56–35 on the strength of a fast start and strong first-half execution. The Bears moved the ball well, consistently finding open shooters and converting early opportunities to build momentum. That efficient play helped Monroe Central take a commanding 25-point lead into halftime, setting the tone for the rest of the game. 8th Grade: The 8th Grade Bears got out to a slow start against Northeastern and went into half down 22-8. The Bears came out and played a hard second half but the deficit was too large and they ended up falling by a score of 42-38. The team was led in scoring by Leum Butler with 21. He was followed by Knox Myers with 13.
