7th Grade: The 7th Grade Lady Bears traveled to South Adams on Tuesday evening and came home with a win, extinguishing the Starfires 31-13 and improving their record to 15 wins and 1 loss. Tough defense by the young Bears kept their opponent scoreless in the second period and they never looked back. Even with a lean lineup of just 9 players, the Bears were able to stay fresh and everyone contributed in the win. The Lady Bears will host Selma on Thursday in the Bear Den for a conference rematch. GO BEARS!!! 8th Grade: The 8th grade girls basketball team traveled to South Adams Tuesday and picked up their 16th win of the season 34-9 over the Shooting Stars. The game was a bit sloppy coming off the conference championship over weekend but everyone contributed to the win. Scoring for the night was as follows. Gracie McCreery 14, Claire Cheesman and Mila Morris 6, Mati McConnell and Landry Taylor 3, Izzy McGrath 2. The girls will be in action Thursday in the Den when they host Selma.
