7th Grade: After a week long snow induced break, the 7th grade Lady Bears hosted the Union City Indians on Thursday evening and picked up where they left off, defeating the visitors 41-0 and improving their record to 17 wins and 1 loss. The Bears got off to a hot start with a 16 point first quarter and never looked back. All 12 girls saw significant floor time and contributed to the win. Alexa Tinsman led the scoring charge with 17, Delainee Whitehead had 12, Mabrey Cheesman and Scarlett Davis had 5 and Remmie Morrison added 2. The Lady Bears wrap up their season next week with the Randolph County tournament, where they host Driver on Wednesday in the first round. GO BEARS!!! 8th Grade: The 8th grade girls basketball team finished the regular season Thursday night at home against the Indians of Union City with a 55-6 victory. Everyone saw substantial minutes and played well on both ends of the court. The victory makes the young Bears 18-0 with the County tournament to go next Saturday at Union City. Scoring for the night was as follows. Claire Cheesman 17, Gracie McCreery 10, Izzy McGrath 8, Brynlee Dumpert 7, Mati McConnell, 5, Landry Taylor & Mila Morris 3, Ada Wagner 2.
