The JV Golden Bears faced off against the New Castle Trojans Saturday night. It was an off night for the Golden Bears with the Trojans jumping out to a lead of 17-2 at the end of the first quarter. The Trojans didn’t let up any leading 33-7 at halftime. Not much changed though the third quarter as the Trojans lead 48-14 at the end. The Trojans defeated the Golden Bears with a final score of 52-18. Team scores are as follows: Cooper Huston- 5; Corbin Lester- 4; Miles Gross- 4; Weston Grove- 3; Isaac Middleton- 2. The Golden Bears will be back in action from the Bear Den Thursday February 5th. Note: The JV will only play 2 quarters. Go Bears!
