The Varsity Golden Bears traveled to New Castle on Saturday face off against the Trojans. Both teams out quick in the first quarter but the Trojans lead at the end of the first quarter 18-13. The Trojans didn’t cool off in the second quarter going into halftime leading 37-19. The Trojans remained in control through the third quarter leading 51-27 at the end of the quarter. The Trojans defeated the Golden Bears 57-39. Team scores are as follows: Luke Morgan- 16; Ta’Shaun Beatty- 11; Jackson Konkle- 5; Eli Friend- 5; Peyton Chamness- 2. The Golden Bears will have the Union Rockets in the Bear Den on Thursday February 5th. Go Bears!
