The 7th Grade Lady Bears wrapped up their season with a Randolph County Championship, defeating Union City 43-10 and improving their record to 19 wins and 1 loss. The young Bears controlled the tempo early with their defense, getting off to a quick 9-0 lead that they never relinquished. Full court defensive pressure resulted in 20 first quarter points for MC. Delainee Whitehead led the scoring charge with 18 points, Scarlett Davis added 11, Alexa Tinsman added 8, Remmie Morrison had 4 and Alayna Dickson added 2. Mabrey Cheesman contributed with several defensive stops and hustle plays. Emma Croyle, Peyton Myers, Jazmyn Ford, Harper Whitehead, Kendall Johnson, Nia Carpenter and Amelia Brown all contributed in the win with tough defense and solid rebounding.  The Lady Bears worked hard all season and showed a lot of toughness, development and improvement.
