Attention wrestling fans! The Bears Jr. High wrestling team took on Cowan Jr. High School. The final team score was Cowan 60, Monroe Central 36. Varsity winners for the Bears were: Jackson Ponder and Jessie Ellis with wins by pin. Case Trego, Mikey Lutton, Liam Brown, and Hannah Fortriede all earned wins by forfeit. In JV action, Kora Taylor won by decision, while Leah Wolofski and Jackson Ponder both secured wins by pin. Great effort by all of our Bears on the mat!
