Jed Ferguson singled, scoring one run, Caleb Luedike grounded out, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Alex Middleton singled, scoring two runs. Monroe Central Varsity Bears took the lead in the top of the fifth. Carson Siekmann singled, scoring one run, to give Monroe Central Varsity Bears the lead, 7-6. Monroe Central Varsity Bears took the lead in the top of the sixth inning after Carter Morris was struck by a pitch, and Monroe Central Varsity Bears scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run. Luedike stepped on the hill first for Monroe Central Varsity Bears. The hurler surrendered zero hits and two runs (zero earned) over two innings, striking out three and walking two.
