Monroe Central Junior Varsity Golden Bears Trounce Winchester Community Junior Varsity Falcons By GameChanger Media Monroe Central Junior Varsity Golden Bears easily dispatched Winchester Community Junior Varsity Falcons on Friday at Winchester Community High School, 18-8. Monroe Central Junior Varsity Golden Bears got on the board in the top of the first inning after Corbin Taylor grounded out, Abe Chamberlain walked, Abram Cunningham laid down a sacrifice bunt, and Monroe Central Junior Varsity Golden Bears scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run. Monroe Central Junior Varsity Golden Bears added to their early lead in the top of the second inning when Hunter Gard drew a walk, scoring one run, and a passed ball scored one run. Monroe Central Junior Varsity Golden Bears scored five runs on four hits in the top of the third inning. Collin Baker singled, scoring one run, Jed Ferguson singled, scoring one run, Taylor singled, scoring two runs, and Carson Cruse was struck by a pitch, driving in a run. Hinkle took the loss for Winchester Community Junior Varsity Falcons. The reliever went one and one-third innings, giving up six runs on five hits, striking out two and walking two. Jordan Hylton led things off on the bump for Winchester Community Junior Varsity Falcons. The starter gave up one hit and seven runs (five earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking seven.
