Monroe Central Varsity Bears With Tough Game Against Shenandoah Raiders (Varsity) By GameChanger Media Monroe Central Varsity Bears couldn't keep up with Shenandoah Raiders (Varsity) and fell 8-0 on Tuesday. Shenandoah Raiders (Varsity) got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Monroe Central Varsity Bears committed an error, and Aiden Coffey singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Chase Osenbaugh earned the win for Shenandoah Raiders (Varsity). The hurler surrendered one hit and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking five. Myles Oliphant took the loss for Monroe Central Varsity Bears. The southpaw went five innings, surrendering four runs (zero earned) on four hits, striking out four and walking five. Levi Pence went 1-for-1 at the plate to lead Monroe Central Varsity Bears in hits. Monroe Central Varsity Bears turned one double play in the game. Coffey provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Shenandoah Raiders (Varsity) with three runs batted in. The second baseman went 1-for-4 on the day. Drake Masters led Shenandoah Raiders (Varsity) with two hits in two at bats. Shenandoah Raiders (Varsity) had patience at the plate, piling up six walks for the game.
