Girls: On the track, Taylor led the way for MC with a second-place finish in the 100M (13.47) and another runner-up finish in the 400M (1:03). In hurdles action, Wagner placed second in the 100H with an 18.80 and later added a fourth-place finish in the 200H at 37.50. Croyle earned a runner-up finish in the 200H with a time of 36.01, while McConnell added points in the 100H with a fourth-place finish (19.84). In the distance races, Wines placed fourth in the 1600M (7:05), while Morris took fourth in the 800M with a 3:22. Hinshaw added another fourth-place finish for MC in the 2400M at 11:21. The sprint crew also contributed in relay action as MC finished third in the 4x100 relay with a time of 1:04. In the field events, MC had multiple podium finishes. McCreery finished second in the long jump with a leap of 11’ 8.5”, while McConnell took third at 10’ 11.5”. Morris tied for third in the high jump by clearing 3’ 8”. The throwing events were another strong area for MC. Davis placed third in the shot put with a mark of 23’ 8”, and Baldwin followed closely in fourth at 23’. In discus, Baldwin earned a runner-up finish with a throw of 61’ 3.5”, while Fortriede added a fourth-place finish at 51’. Boys: The boys dominated the distance events, led by Dance, who captured first place in both the 1600M (5:41) and the 2400M (8:50). Brown added a runner-up finish in the 1600M with a time of 5:53 and later placed fourth in the 400M at 1:10. In the 800M, Ponder narrowly missed the top spot with a strong second-place finish in 2:43.65. MC also found success in the hurdles. Whitehead finished second in both the 110H (20.94) and the 200H (32.64), while Hinshaw added third-place finishes in each event with times of 21.95 and 34.90. In sprint action, Slaven placed fourth in the 200M with a time of 28.25, and the MC 4x100 relay team earned a runner-up finish at 54.56. The Eagles also took third in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:48. Field events brought more key performances for MC. Whitehead added another runner-up finish in the long jump with a leap of 13’ 4.5”. In the high jump, Butler tied for second by clearing 4’ 8”. The throwing events continued the strong showing as Slaven placed third in the shot put with a throw of 31’ 6.5”, while Kidd finished fourth in discus at 74’ 7”.
