Monroe Central Varsity Bears jumped out to the lead in the top of the second inning after Kyler Bogue singled, scoring one run, Carson Siekmann singled, scoring two runs, and a passed ball scored one run. Isaac Middleton earned the win for Monroe Central Varsity Bears. The pitcher gave up three hits and three runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out eight and walking three. Zentz took the loss for Blue River Valley. The hurler went three innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on three hits, striking out five and walking one.
