Monroe Central Varsity Bears With Tough Game Against North Miami Warriors By GameChanger Media Monroe Central Varsity Bears had trouble keeping up with North Miami Warriors in a 9-1 loss on Saturday at Oak Hill Junior High School. North Miami Warriors opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two doubles. North Miami Warriors first got on the board when Jension Carr doubled, scoring one run. A double by Keaton Floor extended the North Miami Warriors lead to 4-0 in the top of the third inning. Monroe Central Varsity Bears scored one run in the bottom of the fourth on a solo home run to left field by Isaac Middleton. Braylon McIntire earned the win for North Miami Warriors. The hurler allowed four hits and one run over seven innings, striking out two and walking none. Caleb Luedike took the loss for Monroe Central Varsity Bears. The righty went three innings, allowing four runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking one. Middleton led Monroe Central Varsity Bears with one run batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. North Miami Warriors accumulated 10 hits in the game. Logan Smith, Evan Chumbley, and Carr each collected two hits for North Miami Warriors.
