The Jr High Boys and Girls Cross Country teams are both the Mid-Eastern Conference Champs! Both teams earned first place spots amongst the 10 MEC teams. What a way to finish an amazing season for both teams! Jed Ferguson came in 1st overall with a time of 11:08 on the 1.86 mile course. Alexander Coe stuck right behind for the entire race, earning a strong 2nd place finish. Adrin Milhollin finished 10th overall. Ashton Dance and Avan Johnson ran well to come in 23rd and 24th. Will Hinshaw finished 35th and Devin Baker was 44th. All 7 of the top MC finishers earned Personal Record times. The team scored 57 points total with Daleville being close behind with 63 points. The top 7 MC boys pushed hard to earn that winning score along with PR times for all 7! Alex Sides, Braxton Wright, and Caleb Bailey had great finishes to their season. The Girls team earned an impressive score of just 30 points with the nearest competitor, Blue River Valley, having 56 points. Abby Thomas had a great race, earning 2nd place with a time of 12:56. Brylie Tinsman finished 5th overall. Brynlee Patterson placed 6th. Aberee Ervin finished 8th. Lillie Moery had another great race, finishing 9th. Mila Morris finished well at 22nd place and Brynlee Dumpert finished 29th. Oaklie Davis had a good race, coming in 30th. Scarlett Davis finished 36th. Charlee Morris, Megan DeVoss, Avery Kehoe, Amaryah Lloyd, Makayla Daniels all came in between 48th and 55th place. Hannah and Cheyanne Fortreide and Haidyn Dumpert all finished strong as well.
