The Indians of Union City traveled to MC for a varsity only matchup. The Golden Bears Varsity team came to play tonight and won the match 3-0 with scores of 25-8, 25-11, and 25-9. The Golden Bears had some players with impressive stats this evening. Junior Bentley Pegg had 1 ace, 6 kills, 24 assists, and 6 digs. Sophomore Maylynn Morrison had 7 aces, 7 kills, and 3 digs. Sophomore Mckenna Murphy had 4 aces, 9 kills, and 2 digs. The Junior Varsity and Varsity Golden Bears will be back in action on Thursday, August 20th when the Owls from Muncie Burris will travel to the Bear Den. The JV match is scheduled to begin at 6:00p.m.
