The Golden Bears volleyball team traveled to Elwood High School for a JV & Varsity matchup. The JV got off to a strong start and took set 1 over the Panthers with a score of 25-21. The Panthers came out determined to fight back and were able to win set 2 with a score of 19-25. However, the Golden Bears were determined to get the win on the night and finished it off in set 3 with a score of 15-7. Some noteworthy stats were from Freshman Gracie McCreery who had 8 aces, 8 kills, 5 assists, and 3 digs. Junior Kyra Brockman added 2 aces, 1 kill, and 8 digs. The JV and Varsity teams will be back in action tomorrow night (8/25) when they host the Raiders from Southern Wells. The JV match is scheduled to begin at 6:00p.m.
