7th Grade: Lady Bears Earn Road Victory Over Blue River Valley The 7th Grade Lady Bears picked up another road win Tuesday night, defeating Blue River Valley in straight sets, 25-23, 25-16. After battling through a close first set, the Lady Bears found their rhythm and pulled away in the second to secure the victory. It was another strong team effort with great hustle, communication, and contributions across the lineup. Leading the way was Jovie Dunlap with 6 digs, 4 assists, and 3 aces. Cora Greene finished with 7 digs, 3 aces, and 2 kills, while Hailey Grove added 5 aces, 5 digs, and 1 kill. Jillian Goad contributed 3 digs, 1 assist, 1 kill, and 1 ace, Finley Whitehead had 2 kills, and Berkley Taylor chipped in 1 kill and 1 dig. The Lady Bears improve to 2-2 on the season and will look to carry the momentum into their next match. 8th Grade: Your 8th Grade Lady Bears did it again on the road against Blue River (25-12, 25-13) Ellie Lanter led your bears with 5 aces, 1 Kill. Delainee Whitehead contributed 9 digs,2 Kills, 3 Aces. Alexa Tinsman came out big with 5 kills, 2 Aces. Blakely Burge led her offense with 6 assist, 1 ace, 2 Kills. Still a perfect season making their record 4-0. Back on the road next Thursday against Union City.
