The Raiders from Wapahani traveled to the Bear Den tonight for a conference matchup. The Varsity match also was an exciting one to watch with lots of back and forth between these two teams. The Raiders were able to get the match win 1-3 with scores of 26-24, 20-25, 19-25, and 30-32. The Varsity Golden Bears had some nice team stats racking up 15 Aces, 35 Kills, 66 Digs, 34 Assists, and 3 Blocks. A special thank you to the Raiders from Wapahani who knew they were coming in on a very difficult evening with our recent loss of Charli. They gathered with us before the match and each of their players and coaches presented yellow carnations to The Golden Bears. It truly was a nice evening of good sportsmanship. The Varsity Golden Bears will be back in action on Saturday (9/26) when they will play in the semi-final round of the Randolph Co. tournament at 9:00a.m.
