Monroe Central

The Monroe Central Jr. High cross country teams had a great night at Tuesday's Randolph County Meet. The Monroe Central boys captured the Randolph County team championship with 32 points. Adrin Milhollin won 1st place in 11:22 followed by Pierce Milhollin in second and Will Hinshaw in third. Jonathan Harman and Case Trego rounded out the Bears' scoring five in 12th and 17th places. John Hinshaw and Caleb Bailey were the next Bears across the finish line in 21st and 24th place. The Monroe Central girls finished runner-up with 35 points. Evie Kennedy led the Lady Bears with a third-place finish, followed by Daphne Farling in fifth and Caroline Hinshaw in seventh. Ember Kehoe and Bea Hendrickson completed the team scoring in 15th and 18th places. Evelynn Stockwell and Lilli Kidd finished in 19th and 20th places.
