The Panthers from Eastbrook traveled to the Bear Den tonight for a JV/Varsity matchup. It was our Pink Out night and we appreciate our fans supporting this event and making it a special evening as we honored Amber Richardson. The Varsity Golden Bears got off to a slower start this evening and dropped set 1 to the Panthers with a score of 13-25. They quickly fought back and took set 2 with a score of 25-20. The Panthers and Golden Bears continued to go back and forth the rest of the way but the Panthers won the match tonight 1-3. Scores in sets 3 and 4 were 20-25 and 23-25. The Golden Bears did produce some solid team stats tonight getting 9 Aces, 37 Kills, 7 Blocks, 58 Digs, and 37 Assists. The Golden Bears will be back in action during Fall Break next Tuesday (10/6/26) when they travel for a conference matchup with the Broncos of Daleville. The JV match is scheduled to begin at 6:00p.m.
