The 7th Grade Lady Bears finished their season with a 2nd-place finish in the Randolph County Round Robin Tournament! The girls fell short against Driver in two sets, 22-25 and 18-25, but bounced back with a strong two-set victory over Randolph Southern, 25-15 and 25-10. The Lady Bears put together some great plays throughout the day and continued to show their growth on the court! Hailey Grove led the Bears with 7 aces, 7 assists, 2 digs, and 1 kill. Cora Greene contributed 6 kills, 4 digs, 1 ace, and 1 assist, while Jillian Goad added 4 kills, 3 aces, 3 digs, and 1 assist. Jovie Dunlap recorded 5 assists, 2 aces, 1 kill, and 1 dig. Berkley Taylor had 4 kills, 1 ace, and 1 dig. Finley Whitehead contributed 1 kill and 1 dig, and Harper Robinson added 1 dig. London Engle also contributed with a couple of good passes! I am so proud of the progress these girls have made throughout the season! They have worked hard, continued to learn, and shown that they can compete. Finishing as Randolph County runners-up is a great way to close out the season, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these Lady Bears!
