7th Grade: The Monroe Central 7th Grade Boys Basketball team hosted Daleville on Monday the Golden Bears won, 44-14. A great all around team effort fueled the Bears all night, as they start the season out 3-1. The Bears were lead in scoring by Dallas Frantz with 16 points, Miles Gross with 14 points, and Alex Middleton had 8. The Bears return to action Wednesday against a very good Hagerstown team. 8th Grade: The Monroe Central 8th Grade Boys Basketball team defeated Daleville Monday night by a score of 33-31 to improve to 2-2 on the season. Great hustle and all around team effort helped the Bears down the stretch. The Bears were led in scoring by Luke Morgan with 15 and Myles Oliphant with 13. Cooper Huston was also tremendous on the boards. The Bears return to action Wednesday night at Hagerstown.
