7th Grade: The MC 7th grade Bears defeated the Blackford Bruins 49-29. The Bears were led in scoring by Miles Gross with 15, Dalas Frantz added 14, and Carter Lucies had 8. The bears will be back in action tomorrow at Daleville @ 5:30 pm for the first game of the MEC tournament. 8th Grade: The Monroe Central 8th Grade Boys Basketball team was defeated Monday night vs Blackford. The game was tight all night, as the Bears battled back and forth with the Bruins, but ultimately falling to a very good Blackford team. The Bears were led in scoring by Luke Morgan with 30. The Bears return to action Tuesday night at Daleville in the first round of the MEC tournament.
