Golden Bear Grapplers finished 2nd 1st round dropped a nail bitter to Winchester coming down to the last match 39-42 2nd round was just as close but coming out on top 38-37 over Union City before defeating Union 78-6 in the 3rd round. Individually we finished with 7 weight class county champions starting @113 Senior Mak Brainerd, @132 Freshman Gavyn Swoveland, @138 Freshman Cory Brown Jr, @150 Senior Zac Martin, @190 Junior Jerimiah Ullom and at 215 Sophomore Jaiden Long all finished 3-0 our final county champ was @144 Caden Shockney who finished 2-1 but still finished on top of the podium. Your Golden Bear Grapplers are back on the mat this Saturday in the MEC tournament at Cowan HS wrestling starts at 9am. GO BEARS
