The Golden Bear Varsity Track teams competed Tuesday night at home against Union County, Union, and Legacy Christian. The 3200m run and the 4x4 were cancelled because of lightning, however both teams were victorious and are now 3-0! Boys team scores: Monroe Central- 90, Union County- 73, Legacy Christian- 11, Union- 0. Girls team scores: Monroe Central- 89, Union County- 49, Union- 30, Legacy Christian- 3 Boys Event Winners: Lane Whitehead - 110m Hurdles Ethan Hunt - 100m Eli Chamberlain - 1600m Zac Martin - 200m and Long Jump Easton Foster - High Jump Julius Ullom - Shot Put 4x100m Relay (Lane Whitehead, Nathan Ludington, Zac Martin, Ethan Hunt) Girls Event Winners Makennah Chamness - 100m Hurdles Avery Thomas - 1600m Alivia Arvin - 300m Hurdles and 200m Katie Osborne - 800m 4x800m Relay (Katie Osborne, Addy Puckett, Andi Watson, Avery Thomas) 4x100m Relay (Harmony Armour, Taylor Oren, Alivia Arvin, Karma Armour) The Girls compete Friday night (4/12) at the Legend Relays at Fort Wayne North Side. The Boys compete Saturday (4/13) at the Churubusco Invitational.
