The golden bear JV team beat Randolph Southern last night in an exciting 2 set sweep winning 25-12 and 25-7. Leaders for the golden bears include Hadley Hendrickson with 8 kills and Mckenna Hendy and Kaylee Swift tying with 3 digs. Mckenna Hendy also added 6 kills and an ace while Karmen Summers added 3 kills and a team high of 4 aces. Two other golden bears dominated the service line. Rylin Tinsmen earned 3 aces and Sophia Bolton added a pair of aces to go along with 2 digs and a kill. The varsity golden bears fell in a hard fought battle to Randolph Southern lasting 5 sets. Maggie Haney was on fire at the net with 16 kills and 2 blocks, also added 12 digs. Hadley Hendrickson and Addi Grove tied for 7 kills a piece. Jazzy Short came through with 6 kills at the net and 5 digs. Liz Chamberlain added 4 kills, 12 digs, and 2 aces. Aubrey Johnson tallied 11 digs, 2 aces, and a kill.
