7th Grade: The Monroe Central 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team suffered their first defeat last night to the Yorktown Tigers, 43-34. A slow start caused the Bears to sustain an early deficit, but a strong second half got the Bears back in the game. Luke Morgan led the Bears in scoring with 29. 8th Grade: The 8th grade boys lost last night to a very good Yorktown team 61 to 21. Maddox Taylor led the scoring with 10 points and Caden Dance added 4. The Bears return to action Monday night at Winchester.
