7th Grade: The Monroe Central Boys 7th grade basketball moved to 2-1 after a 47-34 vs. Driver. Another strong second half and great teamwork propelled the Bears to their second win of the year. Luke Morgan led the Bears with 25, while Peyton Chamness added 8, Weston Grove with 5, and Myles Oliphant with 3. The Bears return to action next Monday on the road at Daleville. 8th Grade: The 8th grade boys were defeated by Driver last night 50 to 34. The Bears cut a 14 point halftime lead in half by the end of the 3rd quarter but couldn’t get any closer. The Bears were led by Pierceton Erwin with 17 points. Next up the Bears travel to Daleville on Monday night .
