The Lady Golden Bears Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Union 9/28/24 to take on Randolph Southern in the semi-final round of the Randolph County Tournament. Our Golden Bears have been faced with injuries and limited numbers of late which has caused players to have to fill positions that aren't completely comfortable with. Today, Randolph Southern defeated MC in a 3-game match with scores of 10-25, 21-25 and 18-25. Junior Shyan Bennett had some impressive stats on the match with 13 Kills, 29 Receptions, 3 Blocks and 11 digs. Our Varsity team will continue their season when they travel to take on the Bulldogs of Lapel on Monday (9/30). This will be a VARSITY ONLY contest that is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.
