7th Grade: The Monroe Central 7th grade Boys Basketball team defeated conference foe, Wes-Del Thursday night, 42-26. Great teamwork and hustle helped the Bears secure their 8th win of the season. The Bears were led in scoring by Luke Morgan with 26, Weston Grove with 8, and Peyton Chamness with 5. The Bears return to action January 3 vs Shenandoah. 8th Grade: The 8th grade boys lost to Wes Del last night 28 to 24. The Bears trailed by 6 after 3 quarters and made a furious late 4th quarter rally to get within 2 in the final seconds after trailing by 10 but came up just short. The Bears were led by Maddox Taylor with 8 points.
