JV: The JV bears lost a hard fought game Saturday night against the tigers 48-37. The bears had balanced scoring with Jackson Konkle ,Justus Ullom, Griffen Gannom all with 8 points. Carter Duncan added 7 points and 7 rebounds. Carter Wheatley rounded out the scoring with 6 points. Varsity: The bears came out and took the lead from the tigers and never looked back. The bears beat the tigers 54-39 to get their first win of the season. The bears had 4 guys score in double figures with Easton Foster leading the way with 16, followed by Alden Mahaffey with 14, Cole Munchel 11, and Josiah Cleveland with 10. Foster also pulled down 8 rebounds. Coach Melton said after the game that we need to keep this momentum and build on this win. The bears play Tuesday at home against South Adams.
