7th Grade: Our 7th grade boys defeated Muncie Burris in dominating fashion tonight 56-11. Great defensive effort by all players allowing only 2 points in the 2nd half. The team shared the ball well and it was a team effort with every player contributing. Leading scorers were Parker Morris with 13 and Knox Myers with 10. Ashton Dance, Greyson Wiles, and Leum Butler scored 6. Lleyton Redmon, Landre McCoy, Mason Gilliam, Elijah Keeley, Liam Whitehead, and Ryder Slaven all scored in the victory. 8th Grade: The Golden Bears got out to a great start and went into halftime up 24-10. The boys continued this play and started the second half with a 10-0 run. The Bears finished the game strong and won 39-18. The 8th grade team was led in scoring by Miles Gross with 17. The team had 5 other players score as well. The boys look to go 2-0 for the week against Selma on Thursday.
