7th Grade: Our 7th grade played a great game against a good Selma Middle School team winning 38-31 in the Bear Den. The Golden Bears are 5-3 on the season. Leum Butler lead the scoring with 12. Parker Morris and Knox Myers each had 8. Elijah Keeley had 4. Mason Gilliam, Lleyton Redmon, and Landre McCoy scored 2. The Bears are looking to continue their winning streak into next week as they travel to Union City on Monday. 8th Grade: The 8th grade Golden Bears got out to a slow start but were able to manage only going into halftime down 25-18. The Bears started the second half just as slow and got down 14 at one point. Dallas Frantz got a steal at halfcourt at the beginning of the fourth quarter which started a run. The Bears outscored the Braves 15-4 in the fourth quarter to come back and win 37-36. The team was led in scoring by Miles Gross with 15. He was followed by Braylynn Hunt with 14.
