7th Grade: The 7th grade boys started out very slow going into the half up 14-8. The second half was a battle falling behind and ending regulation tied at 29. The Bears fought hard going into double overtime and winning 42-34. Scoring for the Golden Bears Leum Butler 19, Knox Myers 11, Elijah Keeley 5, Ryder Slaven 4, and Parker Morris 3. 8th Grade: The 8th grade Golden bears got out to a slow start. The opposing eagles took advantage of this and the deficit was too much to overcome. The Bears look to bounce back Thursday in their first round of the MEC tournament against Selma.
