7th Grade Girls Basketball defeats Selma in the Mid-Eastern Conference Tournament

The young Lady Bears played the first round of the MEC tournament last night traveling to Selma and beating the Braves 42-7. Ada Wagner and Bristol Goad didn't get in the scoring column but played outstanding defense to contribute to the win. The Bear's balanced scoring was paced by Mila Morris with 9, Claire Cheesman 8, Mati McConnell 7, Izzy McGrath 6, Brynlee Dumpert 5, Gracie McCreery 3 and Landry Taylor and Lillie Moery 2.
