7th Grade: Golden bears played solid defense against a tough Selma team winning 26-23. Great way to start the MEC tournament advancing to the second round to be played at Blue River on Saturday. Leading scorers for the Bears were Parker Morris 9pts and Ryder Slaven 7pts. 8th Grade: The Golden Bears got out to a solid start but slowed down in the second quarter and went into halftime down 22-14. The bears came out swinging in the second half of play and managed to climb back and gain a lead. Selma made some timely plays however. The bears fell 37-30.
